About Laura Bowling
Ready to feel like yourself again?
Laura Bowling, LPC
Do you remember a time when life felt lighter, your energy wasn’t constantly pulled in a hundred directions, and your past experiences didn’t quietly shape every decision? For many women, those days feel far away.
I can’t change what you’ve been through or remove the challenges that naturally come with life, but I can help you make sense of your experiences in a new way — supporting healing from past wounds, building practical tools for what you’re navigating now, and reconnecting you with your strengths.
You’re not looking for surface-level advice or quick fixes.
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Laura, a trauma informed therapist, and I help motivated women just like you: ones that have it within them to better understand themselves, learn new skills, and heal from emotional pain, but just need the support to get there.
I help my clients navigate life with more self-trust, emotional freedom, and grounded resilience by equipping them with the tools they need to live life on their own terms. As a licensed therapist specializing in EMDR and trauma-focused therapy, I work collaboratively with women to create healing, lasting change, and personal growth.
Many therapy approaches are one-size-fits-all, leaving clients feeling misunderstood or stuck. I know that your circumstances are unique, so I use a flexible, integrative, evidence-based approach that fits you.
First, we gently uncover the patterns, beliefs, and past experiences that are shaping your present challenges. Then, we choose the therapeutic methods that will be most effective — EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, or a blend — tailored to your needs. Everything we do in session is purposeful, practical, and designed to help you move forward and feel fully at home in your own life. Therapy with me is both deeply relational and thoughtfully structured, designed to support meaningful and lasting change.
Relational, Personalized Care Rooted in Connection
I believe meaningful therapy is built on deep personal care and genuine connection. Our work together is collaborative and intentional — shaping goals that matter to you while staying flexible enough to shift when your needs and growth call for something different. I provide boutique, wraparound care, thoughtfully coordinating with other healthcare providers when helpful so your support feels cohesive and aligned. This is a space for genuine, heartfelt work where you feel deeply seen and supported.
Why clients choose to work with me
I’m dedicated to helping women thrive
Therapy with me isn’t surface-level. There’s no “band-aid” approach.
I’m committed to both a holistic and historical understanding of your experiences. I come prepared to every session, continually learning, consulting with other therapists, and refining techniques so you can receive the most effective, research-backed care.
We celebrate every win — no matter how small — and I maintain an honest, supportive relationship where you feel safe discussing what’s working and what isn’t.
Over time, this process is designed to help you reconnect with yourself in a deeper, more sustainable way.
The ultimate goal of our work is that one day, you won’t need me anymore because you’ll have learned the tools, done the work, and come fully back to yourself. My role is to guide you to that point of self-trust, resilience, and confidence so you can navigate life with clarity and strength on your own.
Experience, training, and what that means for you
My training in trauma, anxiety, stress, relationships, burnout, life transitions, and EMDR means you’ll receive trauma informed, evidence-based care tailored to your needs.
But more importantly, I understand what it’s like to juggle responsibilities, hold space for others, and feel the weight of life on your shoulders. I know how it feels to want to show up fully but struggle to feel at home in your own life.
When we work together, you get more than a licensed, trained therapist — you get someone who truly understands your journey and celebrates your progress along the way.
